The Beni M’guild is a region in the western Middle Atlas of Morocco and is known for their thick pile rugs. Woven by the women on a vertical loom they usually offer very simple geometric patterns running down or across the rug creating a contemporary design style
Boujad rugs come from a small region in Haouz and are handwoven by local women. Often made of strong bold colours featuring motifs used to tell tales of fertility, rural life, marriage and spiritual beliefs. Each rug is individual in its design and story.
